On Monday 26th June 2017, Ringwood Sixth Form’s Year 12 Business Studies students had this years Apprentice launch. This is the 10th year of hosting The Apprentice, with a total of 36 A Level Business Studies students taking part!

The challenge was to sell products of their choice around the school, taking into account all of the successful elements of business practice; business plan, finance, marketing, customer service, pricing, teamwork. The challenge lasted for two and half weeks, with the teams ultimate aim to generate a profit. Each of the teams were loaned £50.00, the first 20% of the profit they made will go to the Amakuru Trust in Rwanda, which will help send two children to school.

All teams reported back to the boardroom on Monday 17 July 2017. Where Lord Sugar played by Michael Macario, ex-chair of Governors did the honors of announcing this years winners!

The Business Studies Apprentice for 2017 is Charlie Gaston.The Winning Team for 2017 is Team Delta made up of Sam Brown, Jamie Conway, George Durrans & Jack Melonie.
