British Science Week

Ringwood School is celebrating British Science Week, from Friday 10th March until Sunday 19th March 2017.  Throughout this time all tutor groups will be conducting in a CSI-style experiment; Monday 13th: Years 12 & 13 Tuesday 14th: Year 10 Wednesday 15th: Years 8 & 9 Thursday 16th: Year 7 Tuesday 21st: Year 11 On Wednesday 15th March & Thursday 16th March 2017, our Year 9 students were given a talk from a local science writer, Ann Fullick, in our LRC.


The Daily Echo School Awards

The awards evening took place at Talbot Heath School on Friday 17th March 2017. This was the second year of the Daily Echo School Awards. At the ceremony, short films of each nominee were shown to attendees before the winners were announced. Our very own Mr Massimino was nominated for PE Teacher of the Year and whilst Mr Massimino didn't win in his category, we are still very proud of him!


British Athlete Chris Gregory

On Wednesday 15th March 2017, Ringwood School welcomed British Beach Volleyball athlete Chris Gregory in to meet our Y10 P.E. Prefect Students. Chris spoke about his incredible journey from a Student to being part of Team GB, after joining the Sporting Giants programme.  The Sporting Giants programme was launched by Sir Steve Redgrave, ahead of the 2012 Olympics, to identify young people with the potential to display talent in sports, such as Volleyball. Young Classical Musician of the Year

Our annual Young Classical Musician of the Year, was on Tuesday 14th March 2017. Ringwood School once again celebrated all of its incredible classical musical talent, by staging its annual awards evening. The event took place at 7.00pm in the main School hall.
