Behaviour Support Worker
To support the behaviour and pastoral welfare of students in a busy Secondary School. Full time (37.00 hours per week), term time only (44.48 weeks per annum), on Grade D, Point 1, £16,777.51 p.a. (FTE £19,614 p.a.).
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
To work as part of a supportive team to lead and run 1:1 interventions, work with groups of young people and demonstrate excellent practice in supporting students in all areas of school life. Candidates will need to have experience of working with young people, show initiative, resilience and independence. Experience as an ELSA and/or working with learners with visual impairment would be an advantage but is not essential. Full time (29.25 hours per week), term time only (44.48 weeks p.a.) on Grade D, Point 1 £13,263.30 p.a. (FTE £19,614 p.a.).
Teaching Assistants (initially on a fixed term contract until July 2018)
Who are able to demonstrate initiative, be flexible and work as part of a supportive and successful team. You will have a passion for working with young people and will work with teaching staff to support student needs in improving progress and attainment. Full time (29.25 hours per week) and part time vacancies available, term time only (44.48 weeks p.a.) on Grade B, Point 1 (FTE £14,710 p.a. for 37.00 hours, 52 weeks p.a.)
Cover Supervisors (initially on a fixed term contract until July 2018)
33.75 hours per week, term time only (44.48 weeks p.a.) to join our dedicated cover team. Salary Grade C, Point 5, £13,831.48 p.a. (fte £17,727.00 p.a.). Applicants should have good organisational and communication skills. They must be confident, adaptable and show initiative. They need to be able to work under pressure, independently and have a firm, but non-confrontational approach towards discipline. Ongoing training will be given in school. We would also be interested to hear from graduate applicants considering teaching as a career.
37 hours per week, 44.48 weeks per annum. Salary on Scale C, Point 1, £13,473.16 p.a. (full time equivalent £15,751 p.a.). Previous experience in a science role desirable but not essential. Training will be given.
