Careers – CEIAG
Here at Ringwood School we are very proud of our Careers Education provision. Ringwood students are encouraged early in their Seven Year Journey to look at their own skills and qualities in order to plan early and broadly for their own future. We provide support for students to consider all available options that match their interests and skills.
Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at Ringwood School aims to raise aspirations. Providing students with the knowledge and experience to make informed decisions for their future choices regarding higher education, apprenticeships, training or work.
The School has a dedicated Careers and Aspirations Lead – Mrs B. Baker who can be contacted by email bbaker@ringwood.hants.sch.uk or telephone on
01425 475000.
Our Careers Programme can be found on our Careers Information page. (Please see link below).

Students value the impartial careers advice and guidance that help them to prepare for their next steps after the sixth form. Specialist careers staff ensure that students are well informed about a range of options, including apprenticeships, and support students in their applications. This means that the proportion moving on to education, employment or training at the end of Year 13 has significantly increased over the past three years. Ofsted Report, 2017
