Inter-school Photographic Competition 2018

The Rotary Club of Ringwood 'A moment in time'. Now in it's sixth year, The Rotary Club of Ringwood Inter-school Photographic Competition has grown steadily to now include 12 schools across 3 counties and has become an important part of our calendar of events. The Big Issue Foundation

On Thursday 26th April 2018, a team of our Ringwood School Sixth Formers were incredibly proud to present The Big Issue Foundation and The Big Issue Dorset & Hampshire with a cheque for over £5,000. The students raised the money through lots of fundraising initiatives ranging from, a staff car wash to homemade cake sales; arranging a Christmas photo booth for our lower school students to Krispy Kreme sales.Congratulations to all involved, your hard work has really paid off!


Soroptimist International STEM challenge

On Thursday 15th March 2018 Year 9 students; Emma Cooper Verity Argent, and Renee Williams all achieved first place at the annual Soroptimist International Bournemouth STEM challenge. Our students competed against twelve teams from eight local schools and rose to the challenge, when faced with finding a solution to help people in the poorest parts of the world. Interschool Rotary Technology Winners

On Thursday 8th March at Bournemouth Collegiate School. The challenge this year was to design a space shuttle that can fly three meters and release a capsule with a parachute safely back to ground. Numerous schools took part in the day long exercise involving 142 students from all around the area with teams from Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
