Introducing House Logos

Following the School Competition, Sarah-Faith Tihngang's design for the House Logos were chosen. She then worked with Sandie Wright to develop them, with Mr Fielder overseeing the whole project. The final artwork has been produced by ex-student Sophie Attwill, who is in the third year of her Degree in Graphic Design.

Cancer Research UK – Wear something pink!

On Friday 29th March students swapped an item of school uniform for something pink for £1.00 to be donated to Cancer Research UK. Students also held a very tasty cake sale during lunchtime, while selling Cancer Research badges and bands. A total of £551.89 was raised, with more cakes going on sale this weekend (Sat 30th March) in Ringwood Town.

Year 7 Robotics Day

On Tuesday 19th March, Bournemouth University came into visit our Year 7 students. The day started off with a brief presentation from the BU team. From there our Y7 students set into teams and were given set tasks and challenges to over come. This involved all sorts of skills and problem solving techniques. By the end of the day the groups had fully functioning robots, which could carry out and complete all of the days tasks and challenges.

Year 7 Citizenship Day

On Monday 18th March 2019, our Year 7 students had lessons 1-3 off timetable and spent time in their tutor groups. A staff-led drama was held in our assembly hall, providing a special edition of 'South Today News' with a Focus on Ringwood Town. Happy #WorldBookDay2019 As part of World Book Week (WBW) our Year 7 students were lucky enough to have a special guest author Ali Sparkes read snippets of her new book 'Death By Detention'.
